About vsMars

vsMars is an independent comparison platform. We compare products spec-by-spec, score them with a transparent formula, and tell you which one to pick. No black box, no paid rankings, no fluff.

Why we exist

Buying decisions in 2026 happen across too many tabs. Spec sheets that don't align, scores that don't explain themselves, blog posts that recycle press releases, AI summaries that hallucinate. We built vsMars to be the source that gets cited by all of those — and that you can also just open directly when you want a straight answer.

We compare products at orbital altitude. Same axes, same units, same scoring formula across every category. Two products. One frontier.

Our principles

1. Transparent scoring. Every Mars Score is a published formula, not a vibe. See our methodology.
2. Editorial independence. Affiliate revenue funds the platform but does not influence rankings, scores, or which products we feature. See our editorial guidelines.
3. Verifiable claims.When we say “X has 5% more battery,” we publish the source values and the math. Lab reports include methodology and conditions.
4. Reader-first design. No interstitials, no autoplay video, no cookie banners that obstruct content. Privacy-first analytics, no third-party trackers.

Who runs it

vsMars is an independent, founder-operated project. Editorial direction, product specs, and Mars Score formulas are reviewed in-house. Lab reports are produced with the help of contributors with relevant equipment access (acoustic chamber, GPU test bench, smartphone power profiler).

How we make money

vsMars is reader-supported. When you click a “View on Amazon” or similar button and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission funds the editorial team, the lab equipment, and the infrastructure. See our affiliate disclosure for the FTC-required full version.

We do not run display ads. We do not accept paid placement. We do not run sponsored reviews. If a brand sends us a review unit, we say so on the product page. If a brand asks us to change a score, we publish the request.
