Cookies Policy
vsMars uses the bare minimum required for the site to work. No tracking cookies. No advertising cookies. No consent banner — because there's nothing to consent to that we'd need to ask about.
What we set

What we don't set
- No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics (Plausible) is cookieless by design.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.We don't run ads.
- No cross-site cookies. All our storage is first-party only.
Affiliate retailer cookies
When you click a “View on Amazon” or similar button and leave vsMars, the retailer sets cookies on your browser according to theircookie policy. These are not ours and we have no control over them. The purpose is typically purchase attribution; lifetimes vary by retailer (Amazon's is currently 24 hours).
Refer to the retailer's privacy/cookie policy for details. If you don't want a retailer's cookies, you can:
- Open the link in a private/incognito window
- Use a browser extension that blocks third-party cookies
- Configure your browser to clear cookies on close
None of these will affect vsMars — we don't need cookies for browsing.
Managing cookies
Your browser controls cookies and local storage. You can clear them, block them, or block them only for specific sites. Doing so for versusmars.com will log you out (if signed in) and clear your Compare tray. It will not affect your ability to read the rest of the site.
